Golden Week

Japan has a period that continues holiday called Golden Week in spring. It contains four public holidays (April 29, May 3, May 4 and May 5) and weekend. For example (this year),
April 26: Saturday, 27: Sunday, 28: working, 29: public holiday, 30: working, May 1: working, 2 working, 3: Saturday, 4: Sunday, 5: public holiday.

Golden Week is a chance to a travel.

Universal Studios Japan

We visited Universal Studios Japan (USJ), a big theme park of movies that originated in U.S.A., last weekend.



Everybody happy!



Our children love Spider-Man. Although my daughter can't ride almost attractions, she keeps in happy. Because she loves sweet caramel popcorn. The popcorn is salty in Japan usually, however, American style popcorn is sweet that we can buy in USJ.



We have a lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe.



We enjoyed very much!

My birthday

Today is my birthday. I became 37 years old.
Japanese people have little lavish dinner or favorite food usually in birthday. I like croquette very much! Main dish is croquette and simple salad, and added to it rice (left) and miso soup (right).
After the dinner, we had a cake that the wife had made.

We enjoyed small party tonight with the family.

Breakfast

We have Japanese style breakfast every morning usually. Traditional Japanese cuisine is based on combining staple foods, typically white rice, with a miso-soup and some dishes (okazu). Okazu is constructed by a main dish and some sub dishes. The main dish is made from grilled fish typically. Sub dishes are made from vegetables.

Sakura

Japanese people love Sakura, Japanese cherry. We can see Sakura everywhere in the Spring. We visit beauty spot of Sakura every year to appreciate it.

About us

I have a nice family.
My wife is good at cooking, and delicious in not only the Japanese food but also Chinese and the European etc.
My son (5 years old) is a very gentle child, and he learn Karate.
My daughter (2 years old) is very active. We are embarrassed by her because too high-spirited often.
We have a dog. He is a little saucy.
